CONTEXT was a project shot with Houston's contemporary dance company Frame Dance. At first my vision was to shoot in a local warehouse in high contrast black and white freezing motion with directional light. These are the proofs from that segment of the shoot. As I saw the dancers moving in front of the camera my perception changed. After 3 or 4 runs all I could see was color and movement. I still love these B+W proofs. They represent a completely different view of the same choreography. Compare with the color gallery to see the final images which were framed at the show.
