Budapest is a city of contrasts. Monumental buildings display the glories of centuries of luxury, riches and opulence. They stand side by side with utilitarian edifices from the communist era. Here, on a walk through a typical residential neighborhood one can see what appears to be an abandoned building. Traces of its former dwellers are still present. I like to imagine someone hanging a coat there in a not so distant past.
