Charles Bridge

Charles Bridge

from $350.00

Karlův Most, or Charles Bridge is a majestic stone structure that reaches across the Vltava River in Prague. King Charles IV started building it in 1357. The monumental structure has become a symbol of the city. Throughout the centuries it has witnessed many defining events, such as the revolution of 1848 and the flood of 1872 and has survived wars and natural disasters,

The statues lined up on both sides of the bridge are particularly impressive as night falls. The hard spotlights create a haunting atmosphere as one walks the area. On this frame we see an unusual view from the river level.
