The scars of war can be seen throughout beautiful Budapest. Here, these massive sculpture replicas mark the entrance of the WWI centennial exhibit. Hungary was caught in the middle of a fast changing world in the XX century and suffered repeatedly in both wars and the subsequent horrors of a particularly hard communist regime. Hungarians hope the peace they now have will remain.
