Among the many temples in Chiang Mai, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is a unique place. It is located high on Doi Suthep Mountain, about 15 km from town, offering fantastic views of the city. Each visitor must climb the 309 steps up to the pagodas.

On this frame we see the a detail of the Emerald Buddha model as the angular afternoon light brings forth a unique glow. I could not help but to sense the divine.
