Among the many temples in Chiang Mai, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is a unique place. It is located high on Doi Suthep Mountain, about 15 km from town, offering fantastic views of the city. Each visitor must climb the309 steps up to the pagodas. On this frame we see the fire offerings. As the gentle breeze blows the flames seem to match the beautiful chofas (finials) on the rooftop.
